Overview

Supports the retail and Rocktane team inclusive of Visual Merchandising/Store Design to execute buying and merchandising to ensure quality and standards are met. Contribute to achieving the budgeted retail sales, cost of sales and inventory goals. This position will serve as the communication/coordination/buyer/administrator for the Retail and Rocktane division.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Coordinate all aspects of the vendor purchase process with the Retail and Rocktane teams.
- Coordination of vendor specification sheets, artwork approvals, samples, purchase orders.
- Manage and maintain process onboarding new vendor new vendor partners.
- Coordinate and maintain Vendor Compliance process with purchasing department.
- Manage coordination of art approval process Marketing and Management.
- Manage Merchandise Special Request/Merch Idea Submission processes
- Support and partner with Managers to execute visual standards and guidelines according to merchandise launches and specific product needs. (I.e. Product Knowledge Sheets, How to Guides, Merchandise Directives, Photo Shoots, Retail Campaigns)
- Collaborate with Retail and Rocktane Management team to create new process strategies, targeting efficiencies and expedition of development and merchandising tasks.
- Setup all new styles and style maintenance changes on all sku’s within assigned categories in accordance to property requirements.
- Ensure accuracy in inventory, inventory counts, warehouse and outside vendor orders
- Coordinate with Warehouse and AP to ensure timeliness of receiving product and paying vendors
- Manage the product inventory systems ensuring all SKU’s are input accurately, including but not limited to pricing, sales items, specials.
- Coordinate POS change needs with IT and Finance.
- Manage retail spaces in place of management team when needed.
- Other duties as assigned – Inventory, invoicing, order entry, monthly reporting to corporate and franchise partners, etc.

- Coordinate operations between departments.
- Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners and investors.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative or coordinator experience in retail environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A minimum typing of 60 WPM.
- Strong background in cash handling.
- Must have a clear understanding of margins and COGS.
- Detail oriented, High-energy, Self- starter.
- Proficient compute skills in MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator.
- Possess a positive and outgoing personality in order to work with external Vendor partners and internal staff.
- Ability to work for several people in meeting their needs.
- High School Diploma required, 2 to 4 year college preferred.
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing.
- Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Multiple language abilities a plus, fluency in English required.
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to move throughout the property (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.
- Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
